Course Overview

The Future of Focal Therapy Master Course will be a half-day interactive didactic training to learn how the NanoKnife System (IRE) and the PRESERVE study are expanding options for patients with intermediate risk prostate cancer. This program will be held on Thursday, November 9th from 12:00pm – 5:30pm with a light reception following the conclusion of the course. If you are attending the Focal Conference, you will also have the opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one hands-on training experience during the Focal conference on Friday or Saturday.

Learning Objectives

REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE:

Faculty will spend time reviewing their own experience and sharing case results from patients treated with the NanoKnife System as a primary therapy, a salvage option when radiation fails, and performing a radical prostatectomy AFTER a NanoKnife procedure.

There will also be a debate on focal therapy with the NanoKnife System versus robot-assisted radical prostatectomy.

The program will conclude with tips on how to implement this exciting technology into your practice and how you can partner with AngioDynamics.
